My name is Pelina Schuh
I attended WCC from Year 1 to Year 12
I graduated from WCC in 2012.
I currently work as a Leading Seaman in the Royal Australian Navy.
My greatest achievements relate to my Naval career.
From graduating from the Navy Indigenous Development Program in 2016, to graduating from Recruit School in 2017, being promoted to Leading Seaman, and completing nine years of service. I will celebrate 10 years of service on 11 August 2026.
My favourite memories from my time at WCC were the Ancient History trip, spending time with my schoolmates, and cheering on Evans at all the sporting carnivals.
WCC assisted me in pursuing my career pathway through opportunities to speak with Navy personnel. It gave me a good insight into what life in the Royal Australian Navy is like and the countless opportunities available. Plus, all the teachers encouraged us to strive for success.
My advice to current WCC students is to always remember that support is available whenever you need it. Don't be ashamed to ask.
