The Western Cape College Resource Centre is located at the Weipa Campus, and is a modern, accessible learning space for students of all year levels. The library is open daily for access to physical and online resources, as well as classroom spaces for lessons and study students.
The Resource Centre aims to encourage all students to develop an enjoyment for reading. It also promotes the life-long learning skill of independent learning through research and information literacy.

eBooks Digital library
The department has launched the Queensland State Schools eBooks Digital Library for students and teachers, and Western Cape College has jumped on board, offering this to all of our students and staff. The eBooks Digital Library will encourage students to read as often as possible, not only to learn but also for enjoyment, which is a critical element of improving literacy for all students.
The eBooks Digital Library uses the popular Overdrive platform and provides students with access to thousands of eBooks to support their learning and love of reading.
