Life Education
We are proud to partner with Life Education Queensland to deliver their nationally recognised health and wellbeing program to our primary students.
Through engaging, age-appropriate sessions led by specialist educators (and supported by the much-loved Healthy Harold), students develop the knowledge and skills to make informed choices about their health, safety, relationships and wellbeing. The program is aligned to the Australian Curriculum and covers key areas including nutrition, respectful relationships, cybersafety, emotional wellbeing and personal safety.
Life Education provides interactive, hands-on learning experiences that empower students to build resilience, strengthen decision-making skills and navigate real-world challenges with confidence. It is an invaluable part of our whole-school approach to student wellbeing and prevention through education.

AFL Cape York
Through our partnership with AFL Cape York, students engage in after-school Auskick sessions and participate in the Weipa Junior Competition, building their skills, confidence and love of AFL in a supportive environment. Students also have the opportunity to be selected for the Cape Crusaders team, representing Cape York in AFL tournaments across Queensland.
These experiences not only develop football ability, but also strengthen teamwork, discipline, leadership and resilience, while fostering strong connections between school, sport and community.

Daniel (Wally) Wallwork
Our Secondary Arts Department and Boarding Campus love working with Daniel (Wally), experiencing and learning from his professional wallwork and mural painting skills. Wally's arts practice is recognisable through the use of high-quality automotive paints and materials creating slick, finished works that utilise light and shadow to create tactile forms. Secondary Arts students thoroughly enjoy assisting Wally in painting our school!
