Western Cape College considers that the community is a valuable contributor to the College.
Our partnerships with service providers across Cape York help shape the Western Cape College community and provide opportunities for student engagement in the local community for work placement, enhanced study options, charity work, networking and further educational opportunities.
The Parents and Citizens Associations at both the Mapoon and Weipa Campuses are an energetic and resourceful group who provide a vital link between school and home.
The Western Cape College School Council was formed in 2011 to replace the previous College Management Board. The council was developed to support the future development of the college, and as such works closely with all sections of the school community.
