The Western Cape Clontarf Academy commenced operations in 2021 and continues to go from strength to strength. With over 160 boys engaged in the program from Years 5 to 12, the Academy is making a meaningful impact across the region.
Aligned with the Clontarf Foundation's mission to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men, the Academy supports young men to stay engaged in school and build strong pathways beyond the classroom.
Camps
Clontarf Camps give boys opportunities to connect, grow, and succeed outside the school environment. Camps strengthen relationships, build teamwork, develop resilience and social skills, and reinforce the Clontarf pillars through structured, engaging experiences.
Morning Training
Held twice a week before school, Morning Training encourages participation, laughter, and learning, reinforces healthy habits, builds academy culture, and supports improved attendance.
After School Activities
After school activities are designed to provide fun, engaging and purposeful opportunities connected to at least one of the Clontarf learning areas: Leadership, Education, Employment, Wellbeing, Sport and Partners.
These activities help boys grow, contribute and stay connected to the academy.
