EOI Teacher Aides
Western Cape College is currently seeking applications from highly motivated persons with proven practical skills to provide in class support and assistance to students across Prep – Year 12 at the Weipa campus.
A range of positions are available and hours can be negotiated with the successful applicants pending operational requirements and availability.
The successful applicant/s will be required to work closely with a team of teachers, teacher aides, and other professionals to support learning outcomes for our students.

Cleaner - Weipa Campus
1 x 38 Temporary hours per week
Western Cape College – Weipa Campus is currently seeking applications from highly motivated persons to join our cleaning team. Position to commence as soon as possible.
This position will be a split shift Monday to Friday between the hours of 4:00am to 8:30am and 2:30pm to 6.00pm
The successful applicant will be required to work closely with a team of cleaners, and other school support staff to ensure clean and hygienic learning environments for students and staff.
An exciting new role based in Weipa supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls to succeed in school. This is an opportunity to join a wonderful team and make a real difference in the lives of First Nations young women.
To be successful in this role you need to have a passion for and ability to engage positively with youth. You will be a positive role model for female Aboriginal students and enjoy working in a small, high-performing team. You will be committed to the mission and purpose of Stars Foundation and can work closely with our partner school’s management, student support services, teachers, and parents to provide wrap-around, holistic support to the Stars students.
